Senou is the world's strongest assassin, a hero who distinguished himself during the war against the Demon King's Army. His reward? A peerless beauty and a vast territory. However, the reality was a trap: he was saddled with Alicia Scarlet—the "Villainess" who killed the Demon King—and his new territory was nothing but the charred ruins of the Demon King's Castle which was burnt down to the ground by Alicia herself.
With peace restored, the Royal Family viewed their uncontrollable power as a liability. The "reward" was merely a pretext to exile these two dangerous "nuisances" to a remote wasteland. Yet, as the duo begins rebuilding the ruins, humans and demons alike flock to join them. Meanwhile, the Kingdom, unsatisfied with mere exile, dispatches an army to eliminate them for good.
But for this overpowered duo, do the Kingdom or the remnants of the Demon King's Army pose any real threat? This is the tale of the abandoned heroes' unparalleled comeback!
