“The one thing I have absolute confidence in is that I can never be fooled. Because if I were a girl, I would never love a boy like me.”

Chikamatsu Nau stands out in his class, but in all the wrong ways. He’s shy and distrustful of others, and is unable to express his anger in the moment-only to explode later when his delusions reach their limit. He can’t even tell a simple lie without getting a headache.

One day, a beautiful girl is transferred into his class, and approaches him flirtatiously? In actuality, Shirahama Kapia can see people’s reincarnations, and has fallen in love with Mercian, Nau’s reincarnation. Kapia’s plan is to make Nau fall in love with her, then break his heart so he commits suicide, thereby bringing Mercian into the real world. But thanks to Nau’s distrustful nature, this may not go as planned.
