The characterization of the whole female cast is appealing for me, they are such a breath of fresh air. Action is not the main selling point, but rather the unpredictable chain of events (read: deaths), the feeling of cruelty that comes with each event, and the aftermath. The main character's personality stands out. You see no ties from her past life in the modern society, only her history with these death games itself.
