Sixteen Syndrome

This isn't your typical prince meets princess story. Ibuki is stronger and cooler than any guy. She is known as the prince and her beautiful best friend, Mei is known as the princess. They are always together and Ibuki has promised to protect Mei.

The two meet in elementary school, Ibuki is the type to befriend everyone and she was told to protect Mei because of Mei’s beauty she was prone to kidnapping. One day Ibuki was sick of her and left her alone. Mei was kidnapped but couldn't run because the guy threatened to kill Ibuki. She was soon found and safe but she became afraid of men. Ibuki blames herself and vows that she can’t really be happy unless Mei is.

In high school they are together and Ibuki protects Mei from the guys who all want to get close to her for the wrong reasons. A known playboy named Asada made a bet with his friends to see if he can pull apart the well known prince and princess couple. But he finds himself falling in love with the prince, not the princess! Mei loves Ibuki more than just a friend and doesn't want anyone taking her away~there is a crazy love triangle when Ibuki starts to have feelings for Asada but feels an obligation to Mei!
