After leaving Seoul with an unfortunate wound to her pride, Yoon Bom is assigned to a high school in Shinsoo-eup as an exchange teacher. Planning to endure just one more year before returning to Seoul, she spends each day detached, with no intention of forming bonds with anyone.

Then, one midwinter day, a man barges into her life—Seon Jaegyu, wearing a short-sleeved functional shirt in the freezing cold, tattoo sleeves, and speaking in an odd dialect.

“Beautiful.”

He blurts it out to her face without warning. Who is this man?

After that baffling first encounter, Bom meets Jaegyu again—this time as the guardian and uncle of her newly assigned student, Seon Hangyeol.

“If it’s just a four-year age gap, no need to check the compatibility.”

With that outrageous line, Seon Jaegyu begins his bold, no-holds-barred pursuit of Yoon Bom.
