Tomo, an assistant director, is left behind at a filming location, and on his way home on foot, he meets Pecan Boy, who says that whenever he goes to a filming location, it's always sunny and a good day for filming. Pecan Boy, who aspires to become a great director, becomes a director's apprentice at a Tokyo studio, and grows day by day as he interacts with big stars, big-room actors, props, and prop workers.
