The story just keeps going in cycles, and every time a step is taken forward, they go three back. Also for some reason, the author thinks it's a good idea to keep introducing weird plot lines every 5 chapters, like NTR bait, while also having the MLs sister be fully in love with him and trying to compete with the FL. (And the progress bait is really annoying as it nearly happens in every single chapter, which is way too damn much, especially when it has been built up for several chapters)
