Princess Leila, despite her exceptional abilities, has always been treated poorly simply because she is a woman. During an unreasonable wedding forced upon her by her family, she is kidnapped by Oz, the king of a foreign land. This event leads her to make a decision of her own: she will become Oz’s wife in exchange for her freedom.

Determined to fulfill her duties as his wife, she finds herself surrendering to the powerful king. Yet, despite whispering, “I’ll hold you so gently that you’ll melt in my arms,” Oz never allows himself to release his warmth inside her. Confused and increasingly anxious by his behavior, Leila begins to wonder about the reason behind his actions…
