The Taming

As soon as he came of age, Michelle Arnold, the youngest son of a southern noble family, was sent north—sold off, almost—to marry. His betrothed: the cold master of the North, Ian Shelleg.

But when Michelle arrived, it was not the promised castle that awaited him, but a small, secluded mansion...

“For the next month, I will serve you in my master’s stead. My name is Ain.”

There, instead of Ian Shelleg, stood his servant, Ain, waiting for Michelle. They told him it was to help the southern noble adjust to the unfamiliar North— to teach him its manners and customs before the wedding.

With his black hair, blue eyes, and cool expression, Ain, who so resembled his master, asked in that same chilling voice:

“Did I not tell you? I will teach you how to win my master’s heart… even in a single night.”

And so began the training—day and night— to capture the heart of Ian Shelleg. A servant who mirrors his master— was it mere coincidence… or something deliberately planned?
