"Ultra Q" is a one-episode sci-fi drama that caused an unprecedented monster boom in Japan in 1966. As the first installment of the "fantasy special effects series" of the world-famous hero "Ultraman", it recorded a maximum audience rating of 36.4% and an average audience rating of 32.39%. This book "SOS Mt. Fuji" is a comic version of the 7th episode (aired on February 13, 1966) of the same title. It is the debut work of Yoshihiro Morifuji, a rare comicalized writer, and the only work published under the name of "Hiroshi Mori". For this reason, it has long been regarded as a "phantom masterpiece by a mysterious writer". The raw manuscript found at Mr. Morifuji's home has been revived as an electronic comic with beautiful image quality that conveys the pen touch vividly!
