I like the vibe

I really like what's here, the characters in the background talking to the mc was well done, I'm not sure how I feel about the male mc being a superhero though. I know this is a one-shot manga and the Idea has to be conveyed somewhat quickly but, If this became a thing I would prefer the whole "seasoned ghost hunter" thing shown at the end to be built up to a bit or, do something like what berserk did and show how he operates as a veteran then show how we got there. I liked the vibe presented but will these vibes...

A good idea that still works well in its format

I quite liked it, so of course I see why people say this could do good as a whole series, but I think the author actually did a great job saying what he wanted to say in just a one shot, though maybe the fight with the monster could've been slightly longer. The jump from Shijima to the monster's face actually caught me off guard, the art was overall pretty great as well. Overall it's a pleasant and fulfilling read

Untitled review

For a one shot I thought it was a decent take at a horror, but I will say that the plot being resolved in a sort of super hero way kinda ruined it for me. Like the horror designs were great, and the build up was well paced, but after it added a kinda of "Power of Friendship" climax it kinda lost all tension. Like when you go to a restaurant you know for your usual and the chef fucking burns it. Its a short read so I would check it out but to be honest it has more to improve on.
