In a certain other world. Alfe, the daughter of a Duke from the Latria Duchy, is forced to flee her homeland when it is invaded by a neighboring country. She escapes to the nearby town of Verdan. Having lost both her wealth and family, and with her stomach empty, she decides to become an adventurer in order to survive. However, during her first job, she encounters goblins and barely escapes with her life. Seeking a way to fight as an adventurer, Alfe wanders the town.
