Military officer Yui Istarts is left in Carlin, a place far from the capital of the Kingdom of Claris. Yui was renowned for his laziness, but he had a different mission. He is conducting an internal investigation to correct the corrupt practices of the nobility. Then Princess Elise appears before him.
