I worked with this young up-and-comer named Shizuya. He drank a lot with people at the company as well as others, just a sociable guy. Well liked. But he was all but useless as an employee, and when he got married I started to really envy him. In fact, I started to despise Shizuya. One night, he invited me over for drinks at his place.
