Dan (단)

“If the Queen’s corpse troubles you, then just look at me, bare and waiting, Your Majesty.” Her husband’s mistress was a monster in human form, a woman vile enough to couple with him atop his dead wife’s coffin. Blinded by desire, he cast aside not only his wife, but the entire kingdom. On the brink of death, Adelaide clawed her way back, for vengeance. To destroy the man who betrayed her, she resolves to use Cadis, an innocent caught in her storm, promising herself she’ll release him once her retribution is complete. He must have mistaken her for a holy Goblet when in truth, she was a poisoned one. “What I fear most… is being abandoned by you. If you used me for your own ends, then at the very least you shouldn’t throw me away.”
