MazinSaga is a manga written and produced by Go Nagai between 1990 and 1998; currently incomplete and up to the sixth volume, it's the summa of Nagai's works, for the complexity of the plot and the treated thematic content. Mazinsaga tells the story of the young Koji Kabuto, university student who finds himself having to collect the fruit of the researches of his father, physicist of world-wide reputation who died in mysterious circumstances. The boy is thus given a powerful artifact, Mazinger Z, the Armor of God.

Based on the theme of the martial art of Koppo, the story is set in the time of the ancient Japanese kingdom of Yamataikoku. It follows the Koppo boy Yumehiko as he fights various enemies while protecting the two children, Himiko and Otohiko.

This is Go Nagai's quintessential masterpiece, a messily erotic and violent work!

James Hont, said to be the model for the James Bond films, established the 00 Academy in a rural English town with the purpose of training spies. Talented students from all over the world gather here, but among them, the most outstanding is Hana Harutaro, who enrolled from Japan. However, he's a problem child—clumsy, foolish, and an incorrigible pervert. Partnering with Harutaro is the voluptuous Romy-chan. They get involved in various incidents, which are solved through Harutaro's luck and Romy-chan's nudity. Shonen Challenge Comics, 3 volumes, only collected 11 out of 25 total chapters.

The story of Shin Devilman is supposed to take place between the second and third volume of the original Devilman series. Here we have Akira and Ryo who mysteriously manage to travel in time. Where they discover the have been sent back to dispatch demons that are invading history to end humanity. They visit several time periods including pre-World War Vienna, ancient Greece, France during the Hundred Years' War, Rococo period France, and wild west America. The end of this series also includes a new epilogue for the Devilman series. NOTE: The US official release of Devilman is based on a version that has both the main Devilman manga and Shin Devilman.

This one is just plain bizarre. Funny and ecchi, but bizarre. Hanappe is something of a loser. He’s no good with women, and some have been known to take advantage of him. After one such incident where he winds up helping in a gun robbery after a woman flashes her breast at him, he goes home to (ahem) relieve himself when two demons pop out of his television set. They are Mephisto (the she-devil) and Ofisto Bazooka (the demon) and they’ve come to grant three wishes, but instead the demon assaults his mother, Mephisto piles a ton of money in front of his father and then goes after his sister, and they lose track of things. They decide instead of granting wishes to simply live here. As a result of this unplanned madness, Hanappe winds up with the power to make people spontaneously undress and want to have sex with him. He is also given the power to shut this off, but he doesn’t learn this immediately. It has consequences far beyond what he imagines though… And then Hanappe discovers a side-effect; he has untapped strength and abilities. And then it gets weird…

One of Go Nagai's first works, this violent period piece takes place in the 1500s and stars a talented low ranking ninja named Shishimaru. In it, Shishimaru fights against Ginnai Doma (an immortal samurai who, despite being butchered multiple times, doesn't die) because Ginnai murdered his comrades. Despite being set in historical times, it has machine guns/lasers/robots/atomic reactors with no real explanation. Note: Scanlator is using the 1992 Aizouban 1 volume reprint by Chuko.
