After the first "Last Exile" series, Claus, Lavie, Alvis, and our other heroes board the colony ship, Exile, to return home to the planet humanity abandoned hundreds of years (ago/before). A few months have passed and the quiet, peaceful life they had hoped for is suddenly disrupted when a familiar enemy shows up. How did the enemy they left behind a world ago follow them all the way home!?

Vanships are flying vehicles that float and fly with the use of a rare metal called Claudia. Fam and Jize are young female pilots in the kingdom of Turan who have made a name for themselves for their creativeness and excellent piloting. Turan is currently run by the two princesses, Lilly, the older of the two sisters, and Milia. Then there is Dio, a mysterious pilot who drifted into town several months ago who is just as talented of a pilot as Fam. When the neighboring Ades Republic declares war on Turan, the paths of these people cross and they have to work together if they want to survive.

A newly ordained priest named Theo Camming visits a rural town somewhere in Germany. However, his congregation gets attacked by Demoniacs and some of them had been humans. After being wounded, a female Blassreiter fighter arrives to save him and the rest of the village. However, she finds out that the priest was about to die.

After establishing contact with extraterrestrial civilizations, it was found that humans were the only race to develop various sports. The number of alien sports fans grew dramatically, and the most fanatic of them regularly harass stadiums by taking part in a game, or by demanding a good show, etc. Finally, a treaty was settled, ruling all interferences towards other planets' cultures illegal. Rabbit Force, a group of rabbit-themed henshin girls, became responsible for enforcing the treaty and capturing any offenders.

After suffering numerous interstellar wars, mankind has finally formed an interstellar union. However there are still many disputes and wars occurring amongst the members of the union itself. In order to resolve these problems, a secret organization, known as GOTT, is formed. They employ agents with special powers to fight for the organization. Agents Eclair and Lumiere are two girls with outstanding abilities, and they are assigned as partners. Together, they fight, and slowly uncover more and more about the secret of the organization that they work for. Note: This is a side story that takes place between episode 2 and 15 of the Kiddy Grade anime.

Vandread Special Stage collects together several humorous side stories, as well as a final story arc where the Nirvana meets up with the rest of the Mejere pirates, so Hibiki must go in disguise...

In a universe where men and women are mortal enemies, Hibiki is captured by a band of female pirates. The group find themselves stranded with a super ship they dub the Nirvana and set out for the female home planet. Along the way, they discover the existence of the "The Harvest" and the possible destruction of both men and women. The manga differs greatly from the anime, with fewer characters and focusing more on the relationship between Dita and Hibiki.

After having been attacked by an alien, saved by a girl, and having discovered that he has extraordinary powers, Shun Ukiya has had a hell of a first day of school. Realizing what this new power is all about is not his greatest concern, though, as there are more important things that threaten Earth.
