This is 2060, where civilization and science have progressed beyond the present day. In this world, there is a place called the "sanctuary" where highly skilled individuals gather, who even AI cannot imitate. At the heart of this sanctuary, a basketball league called the NBA is held. The story depicts the journey of a 12-year-old boy named Takeru, who possesses basketball talent despite his small stature, and his friends Isaiah and Bon, as they aim to compete in the NBA.

In 2036, the World Olympic Committee made the groundbreaking decision to lift all restrictions on doping for athletes. All those hallowed, longstanding records of human ability were buried in a single night of competition. The public enthusiasm for the performances was suffocating. The new rules were here to stay. But, not all athletes want to dope. Not all of them see the 'enhanced' records as legitimate. And Mike, a clean-running 100-meter specialist, is about to hit these steroid monsters with his very best shot.
