By day, Go Min-hyuk is an ordinary employee in the operations department at “GoPlay,” the nation’s top streaming platform. By night, he is a hit web novelist whose fourth book, The Office Worker from the Apocalypse, blew up into a massive blockbuster hit—earning him a staggering hundred thousand dollars a month in royalties.
Originally, Min-hyuk planned to throw his resignation letter in his boss’s face the moment the royalty checks started hitting six figures. But with a comfortable bank account making daily work stress disappear and his entire social life tied to his office colleagues, he finds himself hesitating to leave.
That is, until his tyrannical team leader crosses the line, relentlessly harassing and grinding down Min-hyuk’s teammates.
Armed with unlimited financial security and a glorious new mindset—‘Who cares? Fire me, I dare you.’—Min-hyuk completely stops playing nice. Headbutting his corrupt boss head-on with zero fear of getting fired, the secret multimillionaire employee sparks an unstoppable wave of chaotic reform across the entire company.
