(from ebookjapan): In 574 A.D., a prince was born to Toyohi Tachibana and Princess Anahobe no Mato. This prince, called "Umayado-Oji" (Prince Umayado), who was intelligent from an early age and possessed magical powers, was the future Prince Shotoku, who became so famous in Japanese history for his establishment of the Twelve Crown Ranks and the Seventeen-Article Constitution. His short and tumultuous life was marked by deep compassion and sorrow for all living things. Note: Comparisons have been made between this work and Ryoko Yamagishi's Heaven's Son in the Land of the Rising Sun (Hi Izuru Tokoro no Tenshi), to the point where there are claims that Ikeda plagiarized Yamagishi's work. In 2007, Ikeda remarked, "A certain mangaka depicted a spiritual romance between Prince Shotoku and Soga no Emishi. I was uncomfortable by that..." while also stating that her take on Shotoku was one faithful to history, since it was commissioned by Shittenoji. Klaus, for example, is Russian. Is he a communist spy? Then the whirlwind of fate began. Ikeda's manga debut. In front of a mansion where roses blossom, Tomoko and her brother Kenichiro meet a mysterious girl. She looks interested in them but vanish each time they see her.

Centered on the successes and setbacks of the main character, the film also weaves in themes such as love, friendship, and women's advancement in society, depicting people and the film industry from various aspects. It was serialized in "Big Comic FOR LADY" from October 1982 to March 1985. It was written by Masao Yajima. Keiko Akiniwa was antagonized by her juniors in her university film club because of her dogmatic attitude, but she was more passionate about movies than anyone else. After graduating from college, Keiko found a job at Hinode Eiga Shuppansha, a company that was trying to recover from bankruptcy, and together with Uozumi, a former board member, she set her sights on publishing a film magazine. The story is taken from the famous Nordic saga, but is based on the adaption of Richard Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen", a cycle of four epic music drama. Central element of the story is the Ring of the Nibelung, guarded in the depths of the sea by the nymphs of the water. According to the legend, the owner of the ring will get an enormous power that can challenge even the gods. The hero is Siegfried, who grew up in the woods with the blacksmith Mime and is accustomed to harsh life and fighting. He embarks on his destined journey when Mime is killed by a soldier and he is out to get revenge. On his journey he will meet Wotan, the god of thunder and his daughter Brunnhilde, with whom he falls in love.
