Ikenami Shoutarou

Yoshihiro Yamada dedicates this superb tribute to his teacher Shotaro Ikenami. The manga will be based on Ikenami's Edo-period historical novels, including the Baian and Hissatsu series.

Set during the historic Edo period, the story centers on the titular Fujieda Baian, a medicine man and doctor by day, but ruthless killer for hire by night. His tools of the trade are the same in either job: acupuncture needles that leave no trace.

Set during the late Sengoku period. It follows the history of the Sanada clan.
