Kasukabe Takeru

I like romantic comedies. However, romance doesn't develop like that in reality. There was once a time where I thought that. Encountering a girl who fell from the sky, my school life changes with a clang.

The story follows Kiyozumi Kurokawa, a novice editor who is assigned to the editorial department of S ("Sandal") Bunko, which publishes light novels. Kiyozumi is determined to publish a million-selling hit series, but this task is easier said than done when his writers include a genius high school girl and an office lady whose last two series tanked.

The story centers around Kanade Amakusa, a boy cursed with the mental power of "absolute multiple-choice"—a multiple-choice quiz will suddenly appear in his mind, and the choice he makes will become his reality. For example, he would have to choose between going nude from the waist up or the waist down in school. While in school, he is given another choice: A beautiful girl will fall before him. he will fall from the rooftop in female clothes. He chooses option 1, and a blonde girl named Chocolat falls before him.

Kanade Amakusa is a high-school student who is suffering from a curse called "Absolute Choices" (絶対選択肢, Zettai Sentakushi). This curse requires him to select an action from a list of two or three options that appear before him at any time, and has no control over what choices appear. Many of them are weird or perverse and as a result, the curse has tainted his reputation with his classmates and other people around him, making his life very difficult. However, one day, a choice he makes on his way home from school causes a mysterious, beautiful young girl to fall from the sky. Amakusa discovers that she was sent from the God World to assist him in completing a series of missions given to him directly by God himself. After completing these missions, the "Absolute Choices" curse will be lifted from Amakusa; but should he fail in completing any of the missions, he will be stuck with the curse forever. This spin-off focuses on the various side-characters from the main manga.
