Katta Yoshi

A sequel to the classic manga Tensai Bakabon, Shounen Bakabon follows the titular character, as he enters a higher grade in school, and grows somewhat older. Due to the cancellation of the magazine it ran in, Dengeki Bazooka, the series was cut short at only 18 chapters.

The series revolves around Nyarome, who gets into mischief and situations with his buddies Kemunpas and Beshi in modern day Tokyo. The three are joined by many newly-created characters, including the melon-cat hybrid Nyanmelo and a Lion. As with previous Fujio Pro gag series, any chaos that may occur in chapters can be swept clean for the next story but there are some developments that can carry forth: Besides the additions of Nyanmelo and Lion to the cast, Nyarome's edgy rapper alter-ego "Waru-Nyaro" splits off from him to become his own entity by the end of the series.
