Josei, Romance
Shiina Natsume is a highly capable, career-driven woman working at an advertising agency. Her life seems to be perfectly on track: she is in a company-recognized relationship with her coworker Tanefuji Suguru, and the two are on the verge of getting married. But everything comes crashing down when she witnesses the worst possible scene—Suguru cheating on her with someone from their own workplace.
Devastated and at her lowest point, Natsume unexpectedly receives a helping hand from Kuramoto Kento, her handsome new direct supervisor.
At work, Kuramoto supports her flawlessly; in private, he treats her with an almost overprotective tenderness, gradually wrapping Natsume’s wounded heart in warmth and affection.
But Kuramoto is hiding a secret. He is actually the boy who was Natsume’s first love during childhood, and he has carried a certain promise they made back then in his heart all these years… a promise that she has completely forgotten.
Beginning from the tantalizingly close yet frustrating distance of being “more than boss and subordinate, but less than lovers,” this heart-fluttering office romance follows betrayal, healing, a forgotten first love, and an unexpected chance for Natsume to completely turn her love life around.
