Satou is a vampire who fell in love with a human, Kumiko. But his love was spurned so he vowed to come back in 50 years. Years later, Kumiko is now an old lady with a granddaughter, Tanaka, a high school-er who is a splitting image of her in her youth. Satou has now infiltrated Tanaka's high school in a mission to make her grandmother fall in love with him. Chapter 0 was part of Arcana 04: Vampire as "Crossing the River".

And he has swallowed his pride to engage the services of Suzu, a Dark Elf, to capture Olivier and return him to the Order. "Gestalt" is a German word and means "shape."

He's one-of-a-kind, unusually powerful in spite of his naive demeanor (much to Kagetsuya's dismay), but set apart from his angel kin…until the Black Cancer strikes the heavenly population, darkening the wings and hair of its victims before spiraling them down into painful death. Tension builds among the angels and between Chihaya and Kagetsuya in particular, and it looks as if the secrets to the salvation or destruction of both Earth and Eden may lie with Chihaya himself. Ebata Katsumi, 16 years old, 1st year student of Senior Highschool. Following his love Sakura, he went to the mysterious dimension of Japan and got involved in the fight between Genji and Heike. The actual historical epic took place in the Heian and Kamakura era, but the manga is somehow set in modern Japan where the characters can even go to Shinjuku. Katsumi looked very like Minamoto no Yoritomo who just passed away so the Minamoto family made him to be the fake Minamoto no Yorimoto so that the people from Heike family wouldn't know about it. With his superior deductive powers, Shinjurou solves various challenging cases. Meanwhile, Inga, an attractive young lad, serves as Shinjurou's "buddy". But contrary to his cute looks, he's a sharp, arrogant rogue. Why Inga sticks with Shinjurou is as yet unknown. The setting of the story is a postwar, future Tokyo that still bears the scars of war. Ruling the land is Media King Rinroku Kaishou, who through politics and industry has the communications infrastructure under his thumb. Kaishou has used a clear head and the massive amount of information at his fingertips to lead to the solution of a great number of cases. But there's an underside to Kaishou's brilliant deduction work, which is that Shinjurou Yuuki, "the Last Great Detective", is the one who actually uncovered "the truth" in those cases. However, the public doesn't know this and thus refers to Shinjurou as the "Defeated Detective". Still, Shinjurou, together with Inga, can't help but search for the truth.
