Haruto is the son of the head priest of Hibiragi shrine. Kano, the daughter of the tatami maker living next door to the shrine, began learning Japanese archery because she was deeply impressed by the sight of Haruto drawing a bow. Separated by a tragic event, the two meet again several years later. The story revolves around Kano and Haruto, who remain at a cautious distance—neither too close nor too far—as they grow up. It depicts with a certain tension the fine subtleties of feeling experienced in the difficult adolescent years. 2017 Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize winner (Source: MU)

Tamiko lives with her two brothers, her mother and her grandmother. It's your typical family, or so she naively thought. Yet one day she finds out Akira, her older brother, is not her brother at all but the illegitimate child of the famous actress Hanyuu Kaori. To make things even more confusing, Akira's feelings towards her aren't exactly of the sibling kind and because of his persistence she starts feeling love for him as well. The plot becomes even more complicated when Tamiko's classmate Yukari falls for Akira. Yukari though has a connection with Akira that shocks everyone, including herself…
