Kyokutei Bakin

One of the masterpiece series published by Obunsha in 1985. The original is Takizawa Bakin (1767-1848). Depicts the activities of the Hakkenshi, centering on Shino Inuzuka and Hamaji. The story of this manga is until Tamazusa's vengeful spirit is defeated, but unlike the recent messed up Hakkenden, it follows the original as faithfully as possible. The idea of ​​the famous sword Murasamemaru is unbelievably brilliant in the Edo period, and Hamaji, who admires Shino, is probably the origin of Miyamoto Musashi's Otsu (created by Eiji Yoshikawa).
