The suspense story centers around Zen Seizaki, a prosecutor with the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors' Office. While investigating illegal acts by a certain pharmaceutical company, Seizaki stumbles across a conspiracy over an election for an autonomous "new zone" established in western Tokyo.

The "sci-fi love story" film is set in Kyoto in the year 2027, and will feature famous landmarks such as Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kamo Shrine. The film centers on Naomi Katagaki, a male high school student. One day, a person who calls himself Naomi 10 years from now appears in front of the young Naomi. Together, they must change the future and save a classmate, Ruri, whom the younger Naomi starts to date in three months.

The lives of 2 high schoolers drastically change after the arrival of the Kado cube and the unlimited energy source Wam. Largely takes place after Episode 5 of the anime or Chapter 4 of the manga.

On his way back from a business trip, negotiator Shindou Koujirou witnesses a large cube appear out of thin air, which swallows the plane he was riding, along with all of its passengers. Inside the mysterious cube is a being in the form of a human man, named Yahakui Zashunina. He is from a place called the “anisotropic”, and he wants to “advance the world”.
