The story focuses on Foxy Croquette O-Gin, the legendary female Tachiguishi also known as Young Lady in The Red Spectacles.

Set in the aftermath of the failed Kerberos Uprising, the story follows Koichi Todome as he hunts down Eito Kurosaki, the infamous Kerberos sniper known as the “Afghan Hound”. Once Todome’s comrade, Kurosaki betrayed the unit by leaking details of the Uprising’s plans to Public Security, ensuring its collapse. As the sole survivor, Todome embarks on a relentless pursuit across Asia to confront the traitor. Also included is the bonus story “The Killers” (キラーズ), inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s short story and featuring Golgo 13.

A future Earth is devastated by the "Angel Plague," a pandemic that induces apocalyptic visions in the afflicted, even as it ossifies their bodies into dead, seraphic forms. A cult-ridden, army-backed medical unit journeys into the heart of a dying Asian city accompanied by Sera, a mysterious girl linked to the phenomenon itself. Have they come here to kill or cure? And is the Angel Plague a withered branch on the tree of life, or somehow a new flowering of existence?

Years after the country's defeat and occupation period, Japan is still recovering. Although they may be on the road back to industrialization and prosperity, strong handed economic and political decisions have turned many areas into dilapidated slums. Anarchists and anti-government student protesters have taken up arms, stirring up violent social riots. In order to combat this growing threat to their fraudulent power the Japanese government nationalizes a Tokyo police division, creating the Capital Police Organization (CAPO). It consists of hard-trained panzer troopers carrying heavy firearms and wearing special armor suits called Protect Gear: this specialized unit is feared by anti-government groups, criminals and civilians alike. First adapted into a live action by Mamoru Oshii in 1991. Loosely adapted into the anime movie Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade in 1999, also written by Mamoru Oshii.

In 2002 a complete collection of both the original series and Dragon Receiver was published as one volume.

In this period. the children, especially girls, who seemed to suffer from autism had rapidly increased. The government became excited over taking in non-registered children using the organization called "TRUMP". And people called it "Alice Hunting". This story had begun with a chance meeting of an animator. who spend the days to get and from between his flat and studio in his poor communication, and a non-registered girl chased by the "TRUMP".

Originally published in issue 3 of "Shonen Sunday Graphic: Urusei Yatsura", which was a promotional magazine that came out around the time of the airing of the first anime series. Written by chief director Mamoru Oshii and illustrated by character designer Akemi Takada.
