Originally shared on social media as a pioneering entry in the “old man yaoi" genre, this is a heartfelt story of two lives that continue to find their way back to each other. After transferring to a new high school under difficult circumstances, Hisaki meets Akito, a bright and sociable boy who will one day become his partner. Where Akito is warm and open, Hisaki is withdrawn and weighed down by his past. Though Hisaki resolves time and again to cut ties, fate brings them back together at key moments throughout their lives. Now, after decades of distance, reunion, and quiet longing, the two have finally found a place to rest-together. After thirty years, their connection is far too deep to be called a beginning.

For 20 whole years, Ishida and Kimura have been meeting each other once a month, for a weekend in the hot springs, at first as carefree students on their bikes, later - as professionals with busy work schedules, always as friends, month after month. 241 trips. Except, their trips are a secret. Except, neither of them ever married, and nor do they feel lonely because of it. Except, there are unsaid things between them that want to be said...

The story takes a look at the main characters, Doi Katsunari and Anri Masato, as they prepare for their first date. It also includes some extra full-color illustrations from the countdown before the release of the original work.

After losing the ability to speak due to stress in his business consulting company, Doi had no choice but to be placed on medical leave, but no therapy or medication ever helped. Just as he thought his professional life was over, he walked by accident into an empty soba shop... where he found healing, the worst soba he had ever tasted, and the most handsome man he had ever seen in the face of Anri Masato, the owner. But who is Anri Masato, really, and what kinds of secrets does he keep? And why does his soba taste so awful!?

Iku ran away from it all - from his school, from his home, from the burdens and expectations of his influential family. It's not an easy life, drifting from one part-time job to another, but he wouldn't have it any other way. Except, one day he helps a handsome, almost ethereal stranger through a social anxiety attack at a fancy party where he serves tables, and his life changes. This man is the famous author of illustrated books, Mito, and he wants to keep Iku in his life at all costs - including inviting him to live together in his mansion! How will the man who doesn't believe in love and the man who invents fairy tales for a living find their path together?

Melon is clumsy and bad at everything - he knows this much about himself, and he's never let it bother him. What does bother him, though, is that he has no money, no place to stay, he's quit school, he's hungry, he's in a city he doesn't know well, and it's raining... And yet, he meets someone who's having an even worse day than him, one Kawai-san, who wastes no time in inviting him up to his apartment for a hot meal and sex. Melon decides on the spot that he'll be Kawai-san's kept boy! Why not? Kawai-san is rich, and Melon, as it turns out, likes sex with men. But are things between them really that simple...?

However, his senpai, in his shock, makes a mistake and sends Morio a tall, blond foreign man who doesn't speak a word of Japanese and is running from a troubled past himself...!?
