"Are you up to becoming my guard dog?" Samejima Yuuji spends his days doing nothing but getting into fights until one day his fight ended up damaging an expensive car nearby. To pay back the loan for the damages, Samejima accepts the car owner, Uotani Shinichi's offer to become the latter's guard dog. As a collateral for the loan, Samejima also had to accept 3 extra conditions. One is to work as staff at the café that Uotani runs. He felt tricked because this was a lot different from what he imagined his job as a "guard dog" would be but....

Since the death of his grandfather, Nakaruma Haru has closed the bakery that they ran together, and wrestled with the future. Having made the decision to re-open the bakery alone, he visits the cemetery to inform his grandfather. There he sees a strange man who appears to be an undertaker visiting the graves. Later on, when the same man appears, taking shelter from the rain outside of his shop, he impulsively invites him in and offers him a room for the night.

Continuation of "Motoyan Papa to Hitsuji-sensei" Hitsuji, an elementary school teacher, became lovers with his first love from high school, Hatoyama. They now enjoy their days while taking care of Hatoyama’s son, Hinata. But now that Hinata is in his third year, Hitsuji won’t be his teacher anymore, and instead, his new teacher is Samejima-sensei. When Hitsuji learns that Hatoyama is struggling to raise his son as a single parent, Hitsuji helps him out, first as a teacher and then as a friend who can teach Hatoyama how to clean his home and cook actual vegetables. As the men grow closer, some of Hitsuji’s anxieties begin to melt around the welcoming (and grateful) Hatoyama. What will become of the feelings Hitsuji used to harbor for his first love?
