From the end of the 1970s, it was sold to a number of comic magazines, but perhaps it was too early, or it was too much of a pursuit of historical facts, and it never got the chance to be published. Searching for materials and relics, deciphering ancient documents, going to Korea, searching for Japanese castles that no one has visited before... Even novelists only use printed materials, so it's not what manga artists do. . Korean tigers are extinct, but I hope that through this manga, you can learn that there were quite a few in the Momoyama period. After 40 years, I reorganized and redrawn in color to make it easier to see.

"Bishoujo Kenshi Mugyuu-chan" is a four-panel manga about swords that started in the October 2016 issue (No. 772) of the long-established Touken Shimbun "Touken Shunju" Miyaobi Publishing. I started out with the simple idea that the main characters were Miya and Obi, but the author was a god, and the story developed beyond the realm of silly manga. It has been decided that you will stream it on the internet. Therefore, it is an all-written new work. The first half is monochrome because it was made for newspapers, but the second half is color for the internet. The content is a beautiful girl learning the Yagyu style of comprehensive martial arts? It is our daily life, conflicts and unchiku.

Manga Hayashi Enri and Fukuoka Farming
Historical
,
Oneshot
,
Samurai
Hayashi Enri was born as a feudal retainer of the Fukuoka domain at the end of the Edo period. Until then, horse farming and cattle farming had hardly been practiced, so he established a school called Kannosha, raised disciples, and spread them all over Japan. After the war, it replaced the tractor and pioneered modern farming methods. He is known as one of the three great farmers of the Meiji era, and for the first time he has made his life into a manga in an easy-to-understand manner using a huge amount of materials. When Enri was young, he traveled to Edo and Nagasaki to study, and devoted himself to martial arts by knocking on the door of Tarozaemon Egawa in Izu. Therefore, in the Meiji period, people were forced to eat cold rice. In the midst of this, Tosato, who turned to agricultural reform, showed the determination of Samurai Kuroda in his final moments, and his disciples from Fukuoka farmers risked their lives to work for Japan.

Takenaka Hanbei Biography

I finally finished Hanbei Takenaka's manga, which was discontinued in 1998. I have introduced anecdotes and materials that are not known in various text books, but I was finally able to summarize them in all three volumes. There are some pages that were inked at the time, and the style is disturbed, but I made it full color, so I think you can enjoy reading it deeply.

Rennyo-san from Manga Go-eden
Historical
,
Adaptation
Based on "Rennyo Shonin Go-eden", it is a manga work that depicts the life of Rennyo Shonin in an easy-to-understand manner. Rennyo (1415-1499) was a monk in the Muromachi period and the founder of Honganji restoration. He is a Jodo Shinshu sect who recites Namo Amida Butsu. Although it is based on historical facts, it also introduces all the legends such as fleshy masks in the Go-eden in a fun way. Since there is not much room on the page, the content is tightly packed. The Flag of Furinkazan Goes to Shingen Takeda

It was published in 1987 as a learning manga for Gakken. The life of Shingen Takeda is organized in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-read manner following historical facts. Although it has been reprinted several times, the original version with many color pages is being released. You can also see the characteristics of the author as an armor researcher, such as Kenshin Uesugi wearing "Sambo Kojin no Kabuto".

The Saga of Eight Dogs

One of the masterpiece series published by Obunsha in 1985. The original is Takizawa Bakin (1767-1848). Depicts the activities of the Hakkenshi, centering on Shino Inuzuka and Hamaji. The story of this manga is until Tamazusa's vengeful spirit is defeated, but unlike the recent messed up Hakkenden, it follows the original as faithfully as possible. The idea of the famous sword Murasamemaru is unbelievably brilliant in the Edo period, and Hamaji, who admires Shino, is probably the origin of Miyamoto Musashi's Otsu (created by Eiji Yoshikawa).

Monthly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) December 1983 issue 46 page read-out work. After drawing this, I left Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story of serialization leads to the serialization of "Kirara QQQ" in the same magazine the following year. "Big Shot" serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine was originally a fencing manga, but it was changed to tennis just before, so I'm making use of that interview experience here... I guess? I do not recommend it to those who dislike such style because there are many panchira.

In 1981, all four episodes were serialized in Kodansha's "Weekly Shonen Magazine". A pioneering work that became the first erotic romantic comedy in the same magazine full of spoilers. While reading one-shots, he overtook the serialization team and took first place in the popular vote, and continued to four episodes. Won the "One-shot Sixth Match Grand Prize" twice, but not included in the book. For the author, in "Weekly Shonen Magazine", Hitomi Fujimoto's first original "Big Shot" and original work "Dokkiri! The one drawn in the middle of "Angel". At the time, it was such an impactful work that there was even talk of serializing it in Monthly Shonen Magazine.

It will be Motoyama Kazuki's debut work in a boys' magazine. From April 1979, three works continued as a one-shot series in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). I drew it when I was told to make a work like the boy version "Futen no Tora-san". These days we see a lot of long titles, but at the time it was rare and the deputy editor-in-chief liked it. It would have continued more if there was no transfer to Shonen Magazine (Kodansha). "Decisive Maru" is a coined word that was used by Motoka Murakami, the wife of senior high school student (she likes "Futen no Tora-san"), when she was in college. It's a pity that another work I drew for the weekly serialization, "Enter! Yamato Spirits", was published all at once in a special edition, so I had to write it as "The Greatest Hope of the 80's", but it was moved to another magazine. disappointing!

A collection of works by Kazuki Motoyama when he was a shoujo manga artist (separate volume Margaret + Deluxe Margaret + Buke = Shueisha). Produced and released from 1976 to 1978, not included in the book. There is no love story, and if anything, it is a work of a man's point of view. At the time, Bessatsu Margaret was the best-selling shoujo manga, and its policy of discovering newcomers and making them their main force was ahead of Weekly Shonen Jump. The author later drew all 43 volumes of Super Mario for boys' magazines, and his sense of comedy was forged during this period. Each series of "Mini Mini Mini-chan", "Ambiguous Mii-chan" and "Futagokko Yai". “Nama-chan no Koibito” and “Who is Hanamuko? ]
