It has been 19 months since the battle in Novostal'sk, Russia. Slaine Troyard received a knighthood from the Vers Empire and Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia declared war against Earth, but Inaho Kaiduka is still unsure about what's really happening.

Twin siblings Mizuki and Haruya Mikage had a happy life, even in those tough times, but that would change when Libitina and Libertina, two twin Viscountesses from the Vers Empire, attack Sapporo, the city in which they live. This story happens around the same time Slaine and Trillram went down to New Awara where Inaho and the others were.

In 1999, after the discovery of a hypergate on the Moon's surface, occurred on 1972, a war begins between the humans who live on the Earth and those who inmigrated to Mars, resulting on the devastation of Earth's natural satellite. Several years later the humanity still lives the aftermath of that conflict.
