The "Time Loss Phenomenon," causes all living beings on Earth to be temporarily turned into statues. During Time Loss, only certain humans – "Recievers" – can remain active, and they witness the terrible reality of what's happening: otherworldly monsters are attempting to breach the human dimension. First year middle school student Futaba Sorano and her friend are in the middle of a tennis match when all of a sudden a fish-like monster appears out of the sky. At the same time, everyone around Sorano turns into stone, and then are transformed into monsters. While being chased by these monsters, a mysterious boy named Riu appears, and explains that it is up to her, and the other "Receivers", to use their strange new powers to save the earth from these intruders. Sorano and her fellow Receivers' epic battle to save the earth has begun!

The stage of the work is modern Japan , where the once prosperous magical civilization has become obsolete due to the decrease in magical elements and has been replaced by science . In this world, cats understand human language, and youkai and phantom beasts exist, even though their numbers are decreasing. Two episodes depict events involving magic and youkai that a traveling cat, Sadanobu , encounters in various parts of Japan.

At Saint Hoshikawa School there is a secret group called the G-On Riders. Students with superior strength and ability are chosen to be in the group, which was formed to fight against alien attacks on the earth. However, many of the problems that the members face are ones amongst themselves, and the same is true for the invaders. And another student at the school, Ichiro, tries despretly to confess his love to Yuki, one of the Riders.

In other words, it meant that Osamu was chosen as the cat goddess and became the new "King of Cats". Cyril panics at the fact (that humans have become kings of cats), and she is astonished. However, Cyril picks himself up and tells Osamu to fulfill his duties and responsibilities as the "King of Cats". It meant listening to the wishes of all living things on earth and working forever for the happiness of all living things. Once a person becomes the "King of Cats", their souls are magically linked to the cat's crown, making it impossible to remove it. Even if he dies, the spell cast on his soul cannot be undone, and he is forced to remain the "King of Cats" for nearly 100 years. Osamu, who was a naughty boy, was shocked by this fact, but with the advice and support of Cyril, Sonoko, Komako, and the cat goddess, he became a kind-hearted boy who is compassionate to all living things as the "King of Cats". It will grow.

The first published work by Toshihiro Ono, this oneshot tie-in to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past tells a unique story set during an early phase of the game. Link (here called Quark) is mentored by seasoned warrior Lepton in a sidequest to defeat Agahnim's minion Graviton and retrieve the soul of the fairy queen. Published in Shogakukan's Bessatsu Corocoro Comic No.44, February 1992.

The main story can be roughly divided into four parts: "Part 1", "National Battle Championship", "Armed Dinosaur Corps (Dyna Arms)", and "Save the Cherry Blossoms!".
