My first love of two years is marrying my best friend?! Desperate to hide my broken heart, I blurt out a fake confession, claiming that I’m in love with our company’s famously untouchable boss. Except… he heard me. And somehow, my ridiculous lie moves him so deeply that he breaks off his arranged engagement and decides he wants to marry me instead?! Now the boss who was supposed to be completely out of my reach is suddenly appearing everywhere I go—eating in the company cafeteria, sitting beside me, showing up in the employee lounge… Why is he suddenly so interested in me?! Surely he knows my confession was never serious… right? “I like it too, Ms. Lee Dan-ah. Let’s get married.” …Oh no. I think I just poked the sleeping lion.
