In the peaceful and lush paradise of Ehre, the "bride" chosen by the gods every 11 years is the object of every girl's admiration. This time, the ninth "bride" chosen is the tomboyish Elise. Elise is taken to the temple dedicated to the god "King of the Forest" and begins her training as a "bride." Even knowing that she herself is being hunted, Elise continues to act in her desire to reunite with Leon. As if drawn by fate, people bearing a mysterious geometric mark somewhere on their bodies—the symbol of Ehre's sacred writing—begin to gather before her.
