Takemura Youhei

An anthology commemorating the anime adaption of Himouto! Umaru-chan, published in Weekly Young Jump starting from the 31st issue of 2015. All five installments were released in print as part of Himouto! Umaru-chan S. It features guest works of other Shueisha authors: The first chapter「伸縮妹！うまるちゃん」- "Shinsukuto! Umaru-chan" ("shinsukuto" is a made-up word, translating roughly to "elastic little sister") from Onigunsou, the author of Mononogatari 「野生妹！うまるちゃん」promoting Sugito Akira's Boku Girl 「半端妹！うまるちゃん」- "Halfway Sister! Umaru-chan" by the author of Maousama Chotto Sore Totte!! Haruno Tomoya Labelled "inofficial", 「干物妹！うまるちゃん大好きおじさん」by Forbidden Shibukawa 「悪夢妹！うまるちゃん」a crossover with Nightmare Funk by Takemura Youhei which was also included in the third volume of the series.

Kurusu Hiyori is a young policewoman and the daughter of a former police chief. She has the unusual curse of having predictive dreams of a person's murder the following day. Tragically, the first of these dreams she experienced showed her the death of her own father. Over time, the dreams have led to her social isolation, a kind of grim-reaper reputation, and a lot of problems at work– the police are not fond of her habit of rushing off to investigate future crimes she saw in her dreams. Even worse, the dreams that have left her as an adult bedwetter have not enabled her to save a single person. That all changes, on the day after she dreams of the assassination of Claus Haida, a creepy foreigner. She is overjoyed to have rescued him, but it turns out that he is something of a monster himself. He works for a foreign company, and has decided that it is in both of their interests for the two of them to team up. He is undeniably useful, but can Hiyori really join forces with such a person?

The demon-filled dimension known as "Mato" has opened to threaten humanity, and a type of "peach" tree that grows there yields fruit that confers special powers to those who eat it, giving humanity a fighting chance, but this only works for women. As such, as protectors of humanity, women rise in social status while men are relegated to second-class citizens scraping for basic occupation and acknowledgment. Cue Yuuki Wakura, a domestically crafty and laborious high school senior whose older sister was taken during a Mato event 5 years before; while lamenting the hardships of the life ahead of him, an event opens before him, and while being rescued from demons by Captain Kyouka of the Anti-Demon Corps, she confers him powers as her "slave" and turns him into a mighty beast mount that mows down the demons. However, there is a surprising price to pay for being her "slave"... and it's not him who has to pay it.

The story is about the daily life of a college freshman in the Literature Department of Tama University. He and his sister grew up on their own together after their parent's departure, but he decided to start living by himself when she got married to a man with two daughters from previous marriages. Shocked by their marriage, he attempted to distance himself from the family, leaving home before his sister gave birth to the man's third child. Approximately 3 years later he was asked by his sister to visit and babysit the girls… While he was looking after the girls, the plane which their parents were on went missing. He decided to take with him his three nieces (aged 14, 10 and 3 years old), resulting in the four of them sharing his tiny apartment.
