Hundreds of years after the extinction of civilization, the main character Shou finds a shogi board, pieces, and a book under the ruins. Hearing from a village elder that "those who aimed for the top in shogi went to the sacred place "Shogikaikan'', they set out on a journey to reach the sacred place.

In the near future, Japan has become a monarchy. The current king of Japan has created a shocking new system for decreasing crime. There is a person known as a "Trigger" in each prefecture and Tokyo. These people are allowed to shoot whoever they decide is 'evil,' whether its a violent criminal or someone who reads newspapers annoyingly on a crowded subway car. Mikami Kazuya is the Trigger of Tokyo. He wanders the city, leaving a trail of corpses of 'evildoers' in his wake. He also tries to use his homicide rights to protect his favorite restaurant, where the curry reminds him of a home-cooked meal. However, his efforts may do more harm than good to the poor restaurant. If you want to work on something, you gotta have good strategy. Daikichi learned how did his father never succeed selling food. It must be something wrong. Fortunately he meet a master (this part is absolutely fantasy….because the master is a cat who can talk and walk) who teach him marketing strategy. Daikichi challenges many great merchant and joint marketing competition. Although the manga quite short (only 4 volumes), it can be a great lesson for us, especially those who concern of making more profit.
