In the aftermath of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, the idyllic town of Ishinomaki and its people have been left devastated. High schooler Irie Saki has been bullied and left all alone after a certain incident at school. After meeting the mysterious owner of the River End Cafe, she begins to learn the importance of the thing she once rejected.

The Ookawabata Detective Agency consists of three people: the old, bald, boss, the somewhat slovenly man Muraki, and the cute young lady Megumi. Rather than solving crimes, they use their investigative skills and network of people to determine the truth behind rumors and urban legends for their customers. Their range of cases can include anything from tracking down a person from the past to finding a love hotel with a 1-way mirror for voyeurs.

This is a story of a boy who challenges free diving. "Free diving" ("skin diving") may remind you of the film Le Grand Bleu. It is an extreme sport, and each meter added to its record brings us closer to the sea bed and further from the surface where one can breathe again. In this sense, free diving has a direct connection with death, with which our fight continues, refashioned over time, bit by bit. So, why would one free dive, and risk his life? The answer lies within the mysterious bond between the sea and human kind. And in the fast evolving world of competitive diving, new data emerges that casts light on this bond.

At the age of sixteen Ryo Narushima was a genius and looked to have no trouble of getting into Tokyo University and joining the elite of society. While Hashimoto Izou did write the series in the beginning, he had been doing less and less work starting from volume 4. Tanaka & Hashimoto reached a settlement and Shamo continued.

Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, where Ishinomori Manga Museum is located, was the most affected area in Japan by the Great East Japan Earthquake. 10 years have passed since then... We introduce the situation at that time and the people working towards reconstruction through manga!

Featuring a modern-day odd couple, the naive virgin Kubota and the handsome charmer Hachisuka, who meet up by accident in a Middle Eastern desert and return to Japan to hustle their way through life.
