In Universe 3 Bardock organized a saiyan rebelion, overthrowing the frost demons. And Kakarotto wasn´t send to Earth (though he lived to adulthood in the Saiyan Empire). This events are described in the chapters written by Salagir and drawn by Faye. In Universe 9, as seen in the first pages of this copy-paste comics. Kakarotto is shot down by Coola. A short series of one-shot manga chapters by mangaka Akira Toriyama, spanning eight total installments released from 1999-2005. It is most notable for its later portion, Neko Majin Z, which is a self-parody of Dragon Ball, the author's most famous work. The series revolves around the adventures of various characters from the "Neko Majin" race, a group of cats that can use a little bit of magic, but seem to enjoy practical jokes and martial arts even more.

The fat and lazy guardian angel Toccio loves playing so much, but he absolutely hates studying. The head of Paradise, however, is tired of Toccio's behavior and orders him to come down to Earth to help people, if he does not want to lose his place in heaven. Arriving on Earth, Toccio makes friends with a group of animals, helping them with his magical powers.

Released in 2000 during a special electronics themed issue of Jump titled "E-Jump", Hyowtam is a unique story in Akira Toriyama's catalogue for it was made entirely on the man's computer. The story centers around the titular character who comes down from the clouds in search of a mysterious egg.

Mahimahi the Lungfish was a one-shot manga initially published under "Toriyama's Animal Chronicles" (Weekly Shonen Jump 1999, No. 4/5). For this project, Toriyama simply observed his pet lungfish and illustrated his thoughts about its mysterious nature. Don't let that description fool you, though; the author's trademark warm and comical sense of humor is all over this manga, making it a fantastic way to learn about this unique species of fish! However, it's somewhat hard to track down due to never being released as its own comic, leading many to regard it as an elusive masterpiece.

In 1999, this educational anti-piracy manga was written and drawn by Akira Toriyama and would later be given out to Japanese elementary schools starting in 2001. The manga itself was published by Shueisha but the actual rights are owned by kidscric, a company that seems to specialize in the education of Japanese kids on copyright. The story was made within the era of the Dr. Slump revival that had been airing on TV at the time and as such, the character designs are more evocative of those while also adding in elements of the 1980s original. It is incredibly obscure and has only been published physically. For the basic story, the Penguin Village Art Museum has decided to hold a festival showcasing art made by its denizens and it just so happens to come as Arale and her friends are learning about the wonders of copyright. Unbeknownst to them, King Nikochan has hatched another scheme to try and escape Earth and return home and this one involves theft of the physical variety as well as of intellectual property. Will Nikochan finally return home but at the expense of artists or is yet another failure within his midst?

Kajika's a trouble making little boy, part of the mysteriously empowered people of the ''Kawa'' clan. When one day he intentionally and cruelly kills a fox, the fox's spirit comes back and places a curse on the boy, turning him into a half-fox and severely limiting his abilities. The only way to break the curse is to save one thousand lives. And so Kajika sets out on a journey, accompanied by the fox's spirit. However, when he obtains the egg of the last remaining dragon on Earth, all hell breaks loose as he is forced to take on the forces of a merciless gangster who seeks the power that resides in a dragon's blood… While at the same time attempting to break the curse and finding out the rumours of what happened to his family of the Kawa clan.

Published in 1997 in an issue of Weekly Shonen Jump for the "Jump Readers' Cup", this manga tells the story of two young demons named Bubul and Purupuru who venture outside of their village to the human world to make snowmen. During this activity, they hear an approaching car and quickly check it out which leads into hijnx. This manga won the award that year, marking the first time Toriyama won it since his 1981 one-shot "Pola and Roid" and its demon world notably has several concepts that would be reused in Cowa, one of his single-volume length tales.

After an outbreak of a terminal disease in their town, Paifu, a vampire-hybrid, Jose, a ghost, and Apone and Maruyama set out to find medicine to cure it and save the village.

Released in 1997 in three parts in issues 3-4, 5-6 and 7 of Weekly Shonen Jump. Tokimecha was one of Akira Toriyama's post-DB work. The story follows a young girl by the name of Tai who manages to create a "Tokimecha", a machine that allows her to travel back in time where she meets a young caveboy by the name of Muu. Wacky hijinx quickly ensues when this girl of the modern age learns that life in the stone age can be savage and terrifying.

Battleman was created in Japan in 1990 as part of a collaboration between Akira Toriyama, Shūeisha publishing, Honda Motors, racing team McLaren Automotive, and the Formula 1 administration. As part of Shūeisha’s sponsorship deal with the Mclaren – Honda racing team, Akira Toriyama flew to Hockenheim, Germany to watch the team compete in a Formula 1 race. In 1977, Akira Toriyama World Awawa participated with an annual competition for new mangaka, sponsored by Shueisha in Monthly Young Jump magazine. Awawa World is a short comic story that goes with superheroes and samurai in feudal Japan. Unfortunately, Awawa World was never published in full as a tankobon or even integrated into a collection or magazine of the time, but only in editions of 5 (March 1983) and No. 6 (May 1983) BIRD LAND PRESS, a newsletter of the official fan club of Akira Toriyama, Akira Toriyama called Hozonkai (鸟山明 保存 会), where this work was published in two parts. In short, Awawa World was never published commercially.This gag story set in ancient Japan attempts to mix modern situations with the older culture (such as a policeman issuing a ticket to a peasant for keeping his horse in a no-parking zone.) The artwork is pretty traditional, but the character designs are flat, heavy and rather ugly. This was an entry in the "Monthly Young Jump Award" contest.Some pages of the original World Awawa were exposed in exposure Ehxibition Akira Toriyama, who toured Japan in 90 years. The History of Trunks tells the story of Future Trunks and his life during the time where the androids have the world under siege. It is unique among Dragon Ball movies/specials since it is actually based from a brief chapter in the Dragon Ball manga, called "Trunks The History - The Lone Warrior". The special changes several key plot points for drama (such as that in the manga Trunks was capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan before Future Gohan's death).

A Japanese high school student is on his way to a Dragon Ball event with a friend. Suddenly, he sees a cute girl wearing a short skirt, but when he runs over to get a closer look, he trips and dies. Upon waking up, he realizes he's turned into Yamcha from Dragon Ball. Being an avid fan of the series, he knows what lies ahead in Yamcha's future, thus he decides to take matters into his own hands, in order to change Yamcha's fate.

While the Dragon Ball Z TV series was still in syndication, Shueisha began releasing “Anime Kids Comics” covering the Great Saiyaman and Majin Boo arcs of series, and movies 11 and 12 as well. The comics featured screen shots of the anime in a comic form and were written entirely in basic kana (no kanji).
