The work is set on a remote tropical island at the southern end of Japan with a rarely visited airport. These are the laid-back days of the free-spirited female airport manager (most of the time naked) and her new male assistant.

A sci-fi story about Captain Momo, a woman on board the space freighter Blue Chateau. She is alone on the 500-day one-way journey, accompanied by a cat, when she realizes that the electronic replication range that converts electrical energy into food can replicate non-food items as long as it has the data. The story depicts the freewheeling life of Captain Momo, who spends most of her time naked because she lives on a spaceship all by herself, and the serious troubles that occur during such a life.

In the sequel to "Memories of Emanon," our eponymous heroine continues her journey through time, carrying with her 3 billion years of memories. When Emanon reunites with her long lost twin brother, confessions are made and secrets are revealed that will make her question her way of life and the very nature of her existence. The first half of volume 1 is the colored chapters "Wandering Emanon" (published before as Emanon Episode: 1). The second half is "Wandering Emanon '67" which is set before "Wandering Emanon."
