A gentle slice of life that explores the nature of loneliness and companionship. Note: Originally a oneshot published in 2017, it was launched as a full-length series in Feel Young 5/21 issue on April 8, 2021. It started from chapter 2, making the oneshot its first chapter.

25-year-old Moriyama Mikuri has an advanced degree, but has had no luck finding a permanent position. She's been living with her parents and doing temp work, and her latest job is doing housework for a single salaryman, Tsuzaki. Mikuri longs to start a career in her field, and her Aunt Yuri, who has had success in her professional life and who regrets never marrying, also wants Mikuri to find love. When Mikuri learns that her parents are planning to move to the country, she realizes her time is running out. She still has had no luck starting her career, so it seems she will have no option but to move to the country with her parents. She finds another option in moving in with Tsuzaki, who doesn't want to lose his housekeeper. To deal with the scandal of their living together, they get married–though just on paper. Now Mikuri starts her unusual new life, as a woman looking to start her career and as a new 'wife'! Note: Won the Kodansha award for best shoujo manga in 2015.

This manga is based on the memoir "Towazugatari," known in English as "The Confessions of Lady Nijo." Lady Nijo was a historical figure who lived from 1258- after 1307. "Nijo" was the name given to her at the court of Emperor Go-Fukakusa. Her real name is unknown. Nijo's mother died shortly after she was born, and she was taken in to be raised at court when she was 4 years old. The Emperor (15 years older than Nijo) loved Nijo's mother and transferred that affection to Nijo after her mother's death. The manga begins with 14 years old Nijo, when she is given to the Emperor as his concubine. Her difficulties and scandals life at court continue...

This manga focuses on a different pair of characters and their relationship/romance each chapter. All of the characters are interrelated (most go to the same high school), and the manga comes back to the same pair every once in a while.

Daisy Luck follows the lives of four long-time girl friends, one who is now a housewife, one who is a baker, one who is an executive, and one who is not working. They're all about to turn 30. Includes three short stories: "Holiday", "Siesta" and "Long Stay".
