A long time ago, there was a job called a sealer who seals out evil demons that harm people. Tachibana Sakunoshin, a traveling fugitive , succeeds in confining Byakuranmaru, who is said to be the strongest monster cat Byakuranmaru, becomes a thousand evil bills, and while rebelling, he will go on with Sakunoshin to exterminate the demons. Byakuranmaru, had a terrifyingly evil heart, but through the battle, his heart also changed.

Dorothy , a girl who believes in magic living in the land of Oz , discovers the great wizard Jack , who was turned into a tin screw-up doll by a witch's curse hundreds of years ago . The two set off on a journey to retrieve Jack's heart, which was stolen by the witch.

The story follows Mototsu Yagami, a college student who can see ghosts but doesn't want to. In college, he meets Koyomi Nada, who was his junior in high school. Out of unrequited love for her, he follows her into the "occult research society," which is full of eccentrics who fill their campus life with the occult.
