Puppet-animated show made for elementary school students in the lower grades with the aim of teaching children life lessons and morals while also nurturing healthy imagination. It adapts a wide array of stories; originating from foreign folktales, comtemporary fairytales and classic books.<br> The name originally was Puppet Show (人形劇) but in 1966 it was changed to "Ningyougeki" in hiragana.
