This is not bad because “it is generic”. Generic stories can still be enjoyable. This is bad because it doesn’t have any redeeming qualities. 1. MC does not learn. MC already knows the timeline is different because of his involvement, and also actively tries to change the events, yet each time he is extremely surprised when something deviates from the original plot. Author just take a week long vacation and the adapting team should do the same to pick a GOOD story next time for writing/illustrating! System + Cannot go against plot + nobody finding mc suspicious knowing everything + everything revolves around OGp protag. Its like a person with a rod up his ass. Bro can't move a muscle and lives in pain as well. Death is a better option. The same goes for this story!
