Progressively lose the plot
I like the art style, the characters personalities and goals (each feels defined and round and do not act as one dimensional caricatures), and the story begins as a tight and well paced (mostly) journey. Each story arc is rewarding whilst not being simple. However the story progressively unravels. New bizarre concepts which don't fit with the story derail the main adventure.
