Once had high expectations

I had initially had high hopes for this story, though looking back there were plenty of little issues that I had overlooked in light of the more refreshing take on magic (at least on the surface). Depends on your taste honestly

Genuinely one of the more thoughtful magic academy manhwa out there. The Spirit Zone system is built on actual logic, physics, thermodynamics, real concepts, not just arbitrary power levels. Sirone earns his growth, no cheap shortcuts, no sudden god mode. The early family dynamic hits different compared to the usual orphan revenge fantasy setup. Art is clean, expressions are expressive, the world feels lived in. Only real gripes are the mid arcs dragging a bit and Amy taking a while to grow on you. 8.5/10 Smartest...

Writing this review as of chapter 165, which is the latest chapter. I would say the art is pretty good. much better better than a majority of series, but that's not the whole point. The fight scenes are fire. The plot is okay-ish, not going to call it peak story-writing, but it's not absolutely horrible unlike a certain series known as Bones. Honestly, yeah I couldn’t continue into the latest arc. At first I loved how they started it off and continued it into the festival arc but after the newest season. A lot of the problems were highlighted and the wonder from the power system wore off....

I Did enjoy this

So I really liked this I would wait with bated breath for the newest chapter but then it just sorta stopped being interesting. I use to really like the magic system but then it felt like the manhwa only follows its own magic system when it benefits...
