I had initially had high hopes for this story, though looking back there were plenty of little issues that I had overlooked in light of the more refreshing take on magic (at least on the surface). Genuinely one of the more thoughtful magic academy manhwa out there. The Spirit Zone system is built on actual logic, physics, thermodynamics, real concepts, not just arbitrary power levels. Sirone earns his growth, no cheap shortcuts, no sudden god mode. The early family dynamic hits different compared to the usual orphan revenge fantasy setup. Writing this review as of chapter 165, which is the latest chapter. I would say the art is pretty good. much better better than a majority of series, but that's not the whole point. The fight scenes are fire. The plot is okay-ish, not going to call it peak story-writing, but it's not absolutely horrible unlike a certain series known as Bones.
