Actually an underrated piece. Not as good as some sports manhwas but still worth the read if you like the sporting types... unfortunatly left at a cliff hanger which couldve been good story afterwards

Sports manhwa....not a particularly well-established genre by any means. I just don't see korean mediums do sports coverage often, and that results in an even lesser amount of good ones. King of the mound was different; king of the mound was fucking cinema. Despite what may come off as a cliched system gimmick, King of the mound truly engages you with some incredibly well made baseball...uhhh gameplay (?) and a decent cast of characters. If there's one grievance I have with this series was how rushed it became tow...
