This story didn't promise it's readers an objective in the beginning. There isn't a revenge or a goal to get stronger etc. This is about the daily life of a boy who went missing, trained as a mercenary and found his family years later. this series has immense potential but for a mercenary manhwa and actually having people die, it weirdly focuses on damsels in distress, like plz just get to the main story, lore . . etc though recently it looks like it might be finishing up soon considering we're actually getting to the important bits, so yeah, it's nice if you want a long read if you're bored (even if some chapters are dragged out tbf) but i definitely recommend it considering its one of the main manhwas

It's a unique comic in a website filled with stories about sword masters, but it truly begins to ware on you when the same thing happens over and over. The story lacks surprises, there is no real tension because everyone is going to be alright (maybe). The antagonist of every arc have no nuance, (except the mob boss in chapter 7 iirc), it's a villain of the week who likes to fight to keep his ego from getting hurt, and needs to be put in his place.
